Powers Home Design (PHD) was formally established as a sole proprietorship in Fresno California on July 1, 2005. The owner has more than 30 years of experience combined from various disciplines within the construction industry. PHD is proud to provide clients with a quality means of attaining plans for sustainable homes, remodels and additions. We also provide consulting services for those in the early stages of exploring the benefits of "green" design.
The following is a brief list of experience in the construction industry.
30+ yrs. in the construction industry:
12 yrs.: civil engineering technician
2 yrs.: public works construction laborer
2 yrs.: steel buildings; sales to permit services
5.5 yrs.: commercial architectural technician
1 yr.: conventional residential design technician
13 yrs.: PHD “Green” residential design business
ICF/SIP Co-Designed Portfolio:
4- ICF home projects completed, 2 permitted and completed.
1- ICF single story home ready for engineering services.
2- Two-story ICF homes currently being designed.
1- ICF/SIP Hybrid home constructed.
2- ICF/SIP Hybrid homes in plan check phase.
